About Me

Hi! I’m Rodrigo Lazoti, a software engineer based in Winnipeg, Canada, where I am currently working as a Senior Software Developer at Shopify.

I am passionate about technology in general and especially in programming languages and open source technologies, and I've been developed applications using Delphi, Asp, Php, Ruby, Java, Javascript, Objective-C, and Scala.

I like to learn new things about programming languages, Unix-like operating systems, iOS, and open source technologies, so I usually try to write about those things on this blog.

I had also ventured into the world of applications for iOS Platform, but they aren't available anymore. :(

Publications

• 2014 - Armazenando dados com Redis - Editora Casa do Código - It's a book written in Brazilian Portuguese that introduces Redis and the key-value model. It'll dive into real use cases including caching, unique visitors, leaderboards, and more. It'll also show how to configure and use Redis and Sentinel.
• 2010 - Dominando o Spring Roo - Java Magazine - It's a magazine article that describes how to work with Spring Roo and teaches the first steps to use it.
